A former retail shop has been converted into a modern-day Croissanterie, drawing inspiration from Piraeus's industrial heritage. Located on the city's bustling shopping street, its welcoming façade encourages interaction between the street and the interior. Passersby are intrigued by the extended ground-floor counter and the large fixed first-floor window, fostering strong community engagement in the production process. The interior consists of urban industrial design elements that include exposed structural and mechanical elements, bare walls and floors, metal components, and industrial lighting fixtures. This design approach blends raw, urban aesthetics with inviting, functional spaces, embodying SD Architecture's philosophy of integrating timeless design with local context to enrich the local community through innovative and site-specific creations.
